Essential Job Functions:
- Maintaining staffing requirements by staying informed of organizational plans and objectives as well as meeting with managers to discuss needs
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
- Leverage online recruiting resources to identify and recruit candidates.
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes, job applications, and performing phone screenings as well as in-person interviews
- Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules, arranging travel, lodging, and meals, escorting applicant to interviews, and arranging visit and or on-site tours
- Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
- Participate in job fairs and industry-related career events; coordinate events with hiring managers
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates including colleges and universities
- Facilitate the offer process by extending job offers and negotiating terms.
- Facilitate the onboarding and new hire process
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
- Assist and back-up HR staff in the department, as needed, with HR Administration tasks and customer service
- Perform pre-employment drug tests and assist with completion of background checks
- Ensure I-9 documentation meets eligibility criteria prior to hiring of TEAM members
- Special projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of recruiting experience
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Exceptional customer service skills; Ability to work in a very faced-paced, constantly changing environment with TEAM members and applicants from diverse backgrounds
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Demonstrate drive and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable making decision independently
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
- Ability to occasionally work varied shifts/weekends and travel to assist at other facilities
- Ability to multi-task to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
