Our client, a growing, successful and innovative company committed to lowering carbon emissions, is seeking a Content Writer to join their team.
They truly are leaders in their market and experiencing a period of growth. As part of their strategic plan they are investing heavily in marketing and technology.
To help them on this exciting journey they are looking to hire a committed Content Writer who will work collaboratively within the marketing team to develop engaging digital content.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will have full accountability for ensuring a consistent quality of writing and relevance to their market, ensuring they maximise their ability to drive web traffic through optimised search.
Salary £24,000 – £28,000, based in Marlow, hybrid working, 3 days in the office, 2 working from home.
Duties:
- Produce, edit and publish high quality and unique content
- Edit and update existing content
- Script writing for video content
- Manage and grow a pool of freelance content producers
- Edit and publish submitted and accepted content
- Produce content briefs for freelance talent
- Manage the content schedule
- Assist in other areas of the business which requires high quality copywriting
- Promote content via channels, such as social media and email
- Develop relationships with stakeholders; such as press departments and other industry organisations
- Manage and develop social media strategy
- Build on their dedicated followers across social media
Experience Required:
- Exceptional written skills
- Use of SEO strategies to maximise online visibility
- Excellent copywriting skills, ability to tell a story concisely and creatively
- Google Analytics or similar experience
- Experience in video content
- Experience in image editing software (such as Adobe Photoshop)
- Passion for sustainability
