Job description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Digital Content Marketing Specialist to join our National Marketing team. You will be responsible for developing a strong content marketing strategy, creating, and publishing content such as email, social, articles, sales collateral on various digital and social media platform, oversee and analyze the performance of the content.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Develop a content marketing strategic plan in line with the company’s mission & objectives, sales strategy and identity.
  • Collaborate with category managers, sales manager, suppliers and the broader marketing team to write and edit impactful and engaging content (email, articles, blogs, social media, newsletter, sales material, etc, tailored to each specific customer persona.
  • Optimize content on our transactional website and microsites to generate leads and drive conversion.
  • Monitor content, provide effective benchmark measuring, and identify optimization opportunities to drive conversion. Provide feedback feedback, reports and insights to relevant departments.
  • Build a strategic content calendar that prioritizes topics that support lead generation objectives.
  • Manage the company’s social accounts, set up and define the metrics to measure the success of content campaigns.
  • Generate innovative ideas for content and lead generation workflow.
  • Research, review and analyze competitive content initiatives and provide suggestions for content improvement & opportunities to attract & engage customers.
  • Understanding the complex business issues related to multiple product categories & suppliers.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or a relevant experience in public relations, communications, content strategy and/or content production
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Great knowledge of digital media trends and platforms (website, blog, social media, email)
  • Excellent English and French written and oral skills (asset).
  • Develops and use KPI to measure the success of marketing and communication programs.
  • Be results-oriented, resourceful, responsible and autonomous.
  • A high attention to detail and a collaborative working style.
