Role: Content Specialist (Commercial & Evergreen)

Contract: Full time, permanent

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE


We are working with one of the biggest sports betting social publishers in the UK and Brazil with an audience approaching 5,000,000 sports betting fans. Their mission is to create the safest, most powerful and engaging sports betting communities and websites in the world.


Following year-on-year growth since 2014, they’re seeking an enthusiastic and driven Content Specialist to join their team of social media experts, marketing professionals and product developers.


The Role

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Content Writer/Editor to join the team and contribute to their sports betting and football content. This is a great opportunity for anyone that has a passion for sports/betting and is looking to join a growing business expanding into global markets.


With a tonne of autonomy and flexibility with the role, this is an excellent position for anyone looking to manage the content and SEO for high-profile sports/betting websites with progression opportunities and a great company culture.


Requirements

  • Proven Writing and Editing Experience, particularly for commercial and evergreen purposes.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO copywriting for websites.
  • Experience writing Commercial & Evergreen content.
  • Experience using a CMS.
  • Copywriting experience within sports betting is a plus, or a strong personal interest in the field.
  • Capable of working independently, generating creative ideas, and taking initiative to contribute effectively.
  • A growth mindset, continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • Research Proficiency.
  • Attention to Detail.
  • Collaborative Team Player.

Responsibilities

  • Drive innovative commercial and evergreen content creation.
  • Focus on UK sports betting, with potential expansion in to US and Brazil markets in the future.
  • Audit and enhance existing content and propose improvements.
  • Oversee content quality for websites.
  • Use research to engage audiences creatively.
  • Develop and enforce content strategies.
  • Contribute to football writing on sports betting sites.
  • Collaborate within a high-performing team.
  • Liaise with Product, Social Media, Design, and Tech teams.
