LCS is seeking a Content Developer/Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will help sustain and expand our corporate voice by writing compelling copy for our websites, blog, email, and direct mail campaigns, etc. Other duties include updating product descriptions and related marketing materials, drafting customer- and employee-facing communications, and more. You will also be responsible for maintaining and nurturing the LCS Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Responsibilities
- Create engaging and persuasive content for all LCS- and RMUC-related marketing, promotional, and informational efforts.
- Develop compelling content for LCS that stays true to the brand voice.
- Ensure copy is tuned for our various audiences—customers, prospects, and employees—and drives key initiatives. Create concepts that are extendable into campaigns and synchronize across other collateral.
- Research technology, workplace culture, and event-planning-related trends and write blog articles to educate and engage current and prospective customers and employees.
- Create shareable written and graphical content across social medial channels and blogs.
- Create social media strategies that align with marketing goals.
- Expand LCS’s presence on Facebook and Instagram.
- Develop content topics that appeal to customers and prospects.
- Follow and contribute to conversations among users.
- Analyze metrics and adjust strategies to improve marketing efforts.
- Support the efforts of the department’s other Social Media Specialists by collaborating on the weekly posting schedule and making posts to the company’s other social channels when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field (such as Marketing or Communications) or equivalent work experience
- 1+ year of prior copywriting and corporate social media strategy management experience
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Knowledge of print and online content strategy and creation
- Excellent time-management and organizational abilities
- Results-oriented professional with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Solid understanding of: the unique nature of B2B communications; how LCS’s target audiences interact with various media; how to adjust voice terminology based on communications medium
- Proven working experience in social media marketing and expert knowledge of Facebook and Instagram
