The Role & Responsibilities
Job Description:
1FitLife is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production of fitness and wellness content, ensuring that all content is of high quality and delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process of fitness and wellness content, from ideation to delivery
- Work closely with clients, account managers, and creative teams to ensure that the production process is efficient and effective
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the production process
- Management of the photographic studio and production equipment
- Oversee the hiring and management of production staff, including camera operators, editors, and sound engineers
- Ensure that all content produced meets the highest standards of quality and aligns with the client's brand and messaging
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in video production and make recommendations for improvements to processes and equipment
- Collaborate with the marketing/account management team to ensure that all content is effectively promoted through various channels
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging team members to share ideas and collaborate on projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in film, media, photography or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in video production
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, creative teams, and production staff
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- A passion for fitness and wellness content and an understanding of the industry
- Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in video production, including equipment, software, and editing techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required
