Job description
Content Producer - Videographer and Video Editor with additional proficiency in audio and image editing.
Primary work: Working within Entertainment and Celebrities recording theatre shows, and editing them into online clips.
You will be required to record theatre shows (around 90 minutes long), and editing them into short TikTok style videos - and short-form ads. Initially for a magic show.
You will be responsible for making sure video and audio quality are to standard.
You will be required to create a bundle of >10 TikTok clips per show, using your judgement of what's most entertaining, and pitch captions.
A creative brain is required, and you will be expected to contribute to and pitch creative ideas for content.
You will be given content briefs, and you will be responsible for it's production and editing in its entirety.
You will get a complete understanding of how theatres, staging a theatre show, and marketing a theatre show works.
Secondary work: Handling other videography projects within the company, working with acts to create and edit digital content - more long form content, including 60 minute course videos and YouTube content
All content will be taken from production to completion and you will be expected to have it ready to publish.
Tertiary work:
- Creation of blogs and other long-form, entertainment only, content for consistent publishing - including recording B-roll.
- You will be expected to spot opportunities to re-purpose, cross post, and trim for platform content - to make use of existing footage in ways that unlock new audiences.
- Editing imagery (primarily ad assets) based on specific briefs to a high standard.
- Provide ideas, and be on top of the market - primarily of comedians, Podcasters and content producers etc.
- Given the nature of algorithms, the content you will be creating will be consistently adapting, changing and improving.
You will be expected to be ready to go on Day 1, but will be provided support, training and unlimited opportunities for growth (both financially and professionally).
Requirements:
- Drive, commitment and excitement about the role.
- Must be proficient in videography, and editing (training will be provided) equipment will be purchased for you).
- Must have a good eye for detail and. good designers eye for what looks good.
- Must enjoy magic (this will be your primary project initially), and be ready to identify good ideas, what's entertaining and spot opportunities for content.
- Animation experience helpful but not essential.
- Must be comfortable (or happy in) driving a Range Rover varying distances. Car will be provided on days it's required but you will be be expected to drive.
- Must have a Full UK driving license.
- You will be expected to be able to communicate effectively and represent the company respectfully to clients and theatres.
- An existing pro-active interest in stand-up comedy (or theatre) expected.
Timings: you will rarely be required to work mornings, and you will not work on a specific schedule. Often you will be working late evenings and weekends, but often only 3/4 days a week.
Ability to bring any of own equipment beneficial but not essential. All required software provided.
You'll be working within a small team, providing creative input and producing required content.
You will be travel the country (and internationally) several times a week, visiting leading theatres to film the productions. Mainly returning the same day, but hotel stays also possible.
You will be frequently required to drive the company Range Rover.
You will have an allowance for wellness including theatre tickets and Gym memberships.
Casual dress.
Travel overseas, including to the USA, Europe, Australia and New Zealand provided as part of projects.
A primarily commission based roll - with direct guidance and constant support - with likely earnings over next 12 months often up to £100,000.
