Are you a creative thinker with a passion for producing engaging and effective communications that cut through the noise? We are looking for an experienced and talented content producer to help us take our communications to the next level, creating innovative content to promote the work of the Council and to tell the story of West Lancashire as a great place to live, work, visit and invest.
You will have experience in a number of disciplines including, video and photography, graphic design and social media, with up-to-date knowledge of the software needed to create them. You will understand how to maximise the reach of our channels and have experience of internal and stakeholder communications while being comfortable in a fast-moving, complex environment with a political dimension.
You will be able to demonstrate good written and verbal communications skills and be able to work closely with a committed Communications and Marketing team as well as the many Council services and customers they support, while meeting the expected behavioural standards of the Council. You will also have a 'customer-focussed' approach with a strong instinct for how our communications will be received.
