Content Operations Trainee
TVF International, the UK’s leading distributor of award-winning factual programming to the international market, is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic graduate to join our vibrant and rapidly expanding team.
Upon completion of the three-month traineeship, the successful candidate will become a permanent member of the Content Operations team. In this client-facing role, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating content delivery with a wide range of worldwide producers and broadcasters. They will build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments (Sales, Acquisitions, Finance, Systems, Post-Production), and external post-production houses. They will support the Sales Team, respond to materials queries, manage content databases, and input data into internal MAM systems. They will provide general marketing and administrative support directed towards the successful operation of TVF International.
Key individual duties:
· Coordinating incoming materials with worldwide producers in accordance with TVF Technical Requirements and in line with agreed deadlines.
· Coordinating outgoing material deliveries with global broadcasters and platforms to specific requirements of individual clients and in line with agreed deadlines.
· Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal departments (Sales, Acquisitions, Finance, Systems, Post-Production), and external post-production houses.
· Reviewing technical specifications of global broadcasters and advising Sales Executives on availability of content, materials costs, and delivery timescales.
· Ensuring the highest level of service throughout delivery of broadcast materials and promptly dealing with material rejections.
· Managing internal MAM systems and video databases.
· Managing and uploading new screening material to TVF website.
· Preparing metadata documents and marketing materials.
· Using Premiere Pro to remove ad breaks, export screeners, and cut simple trailers/promo clips.
· Providing administrative support to the rest of the team as and when required.

· Some experience in Premiere Pro an advantage
· An understanding of file formats, international broadcast industry standards and database systems
· Positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for working in TV distribution
All candidates should have an excellent educational background (minimum of a 2:1 from a top university) and be able to demonstrate a passion for documentary programming.

Salary: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
