Job description
- Work alongside the Head of Marketing to create a content strategy and plan which works alongside our campaign plans.
- Writing long and short form content for on and offline channels.
- Content creation working in house and with partners including blogs, whitepapers, podcasts, video and webinars.
- SEO: ensuring content is as optimised as it can be to contribute to our SEO strategy through the use of keywords and original, rich content.
- Work with external copy writers and agencies to create briefs, proof read and distribute content accordingly in line with our campaign plans.
- Work with the sales teams and across the legal team where necessary for content creation, e.g. interviews for thought leadership, product specific content etc.
- Work with internal and external creative teams to ensure all content remains on brand.
- Measure and report back on the success of different forms of content to allow the team to optimise marketing campaigns.
- Ensure content is shared appropriately internally to feed into business development and sales cadences.
- Contribute to the marketing plan for the business unit.
- Ensure external content campaigns run on time and to budget.
- Awareness of and contribution to the attainment of sales volume (leads) and financial goals (conversions), including profitability with targeted lead generation campaigns.
- Identify, recommend and manage third party resources as required.
What You Will Have:
- Previous marketing experience with aspirations to develop your career in marketing, specifically through the use of content.
- Strong writing skills and past experience of successful content creation.
- Understanding of commercial and business challenges
- Market (Vertical / IT) knowledge and organisational awareness
- Relationship management skills with internal stakeholders and customers
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to interface at all levels of management
- Willingness to learn, think analytically and work collaboratively in a growing marketing team
- Highly creative, proactive, decisive and organised
- Confident and enthusiastic showing a strong ability to learn and expand the role
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
