Career Overview
Your primary goal is to help grow our company by executing our marketing strategy, which is based on content production. We produce 100% original, high-quality content -- the majority of our content is written by our founder. He wrote five books last year on M&A and also runs the number one podcast in our industry – M&A Talk.
You will also assist us in managing our podcast, M&A Talk, which is the #1 show exclusively focused on mergers and acquisitions. Our past guests have included experts from the following companies: Deloitte, Wells Fargo, Forbes, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, GE, JP Morgan, Ernst & Young, Procter & Gamble, Credit Suisse, Boston Consulting Group, Morgan Stanley, KPMG, Bank of America, and IBM. Following are some of the types of content you will be involved in producing and marketing: Podcasts, e-Books, articles, email newsletters, marketing programs, online advertisements, seminars, webinars, audiobooks, blogs, white papers, articles on third-party websites (ex: industry publications and trade journals), paid advertising (PPC) and much more.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Content Development (Learn More Here)
- Help perform initial research and create reports, blog posts, articles, white papers, research papers, books, podcast scripts, third-party articles, stories, email courses, news releases, marketing content, and more.
- Research industries, companies, and comparable transactions.
- Repurpose content into various formats and for various audiences.
- Monitor the performance of content via downloads, views, and shares on a variety of platforms.
- Manage the content production processes, including publication across platforms.
Manage our Podcast
- Identify and invite potential guests through LinkedIn and email.
- Brainstorm and implement new methods for inviting high-profile guests to the show.
- Manage the scheduling process for guests.
- Coordinate the entire production process from start to finish with our host, audio editor, writers, and editors.
- Write the show notes for each episode.
- Post the podcast episodes to our website and other channels.
- Test and measure all activities in the production process to improve results.
- Monitor the performance of content (downloads, views, shares) on various platforms and make improvements and other changes as needed
- Identify new methods for marketing the podcast and increasing the listenership.
- Research similar podcasts and generate ideas for improving our show.
- Brainstorm and implement ideas for repurposing the shows into other forms of content, such as articles or books, and increasing the exposure for the podcast.
- Assist us in launching a new podcast in a related niche.
- Create methods for advertising and marketing our other product – M&A University, which offers other audio courses related to business valuation and M&A.
Miscellaneous
- Manage projects with other teams, such as writers, editors, web developers, and others, with a focus on driving them to completion, as opposed to simply following up.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications
Experience
- At least five years of content and online marketing experience.
General Skills
- Perfect interpersonal, written, and spoken English skills.
- Tech-savvy with experience in Google Docs and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Results-oriented with strong execution skills and the ability to prioritize between multiple projects.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills with a strong ability to work independently.
- Proactive with an ability to be flexible, quickly adapt, and make independent decisions.
Hours and Home Office
- This is a full-time role - you should have no other conflicting obligations.
- Must be able to work full-time during Europe Business Hours (semi-flexible hours are possible).
- Home office required with reliable high-speed internet and a noise-canceling headset.

Next Steps
