We are looking for a dynamic Content Expert to join our haematology team and bring a wealth of expertise on all aspects of content design and content performance optimisation across owned and third-party channels.
This is an important role within GSK’s critical oncology franchise, working specifically on a new launch product in the UK Pharma company where there are significant performance ambitions requiring us to be accountable for impact, ambitious for patients and always do the right thing.
In this role you will:
Customise, localise and personalise relevant global brand content in an effective and efficient way, to maximise customer engagement. You are also responsible for the creation of local relevant materials.
- Content: In this role you will proactively adapt global and local content to fit commercial messaging and answer customers’ needs. This includes orchestrating the Data-driven Customer Experience (DDCX) user journeys from a content perspective, determining which global or local content is most relevant for each touchpoint and developing local content where relevant.
- Leverage GSK Marketing Operations Centre and collaborate with external content agencies to create content in an agile manner.
- Support the Brand Manager and cross-functional team to co-ordinate the matrix local team for content approval process. You will ensure modular content standards are applied.
- Provide expertise to the brand team on all aspects of design and performance optimisation of content across multiple customer engagement platforms. Owns pieces of content development to support agility, leveraging modular content and Tech. Additionally you will confidently use all relevant functions within in order to create, edit and publish new modules.
- Monitor and optimise the content usage in the different dashboards to inform data-based decisions in order to improve content progressively and drive optimal usage by Sales team.
- Informs the local organization about new tool functionalities or processes if required
- Do the right thing and ensure all content development, optimisation and implementation follows the requirements set out within our internal and external operating frameworks including the GSK Code & ABPI code
Basic qualifications:
- Experience in content creation and digital marketing gained within the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to handle complexity (content and processes)
- Thorough understanding of user insights and experience from a content creation perspective
- Experience in managing agency relationships and in planning and buying of display media, building user journeys, implementing bidding strategies
- Adopt an ownership mindset – be fully immersed in all things related to content; own results and scaling decisions
- Belief in team working to deliver - including a culture of transparency and trust
- Passionate about technology & excited about the impact of emerging technologies
- Consistently challenge the status quo, desiring a working environment that fosters entrepreneurial minds
- Apply a ‘why not’ approach to testing and enjoy continuous learning
Preferred Experience
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts and align organization on decisions
- Inspires the team and can engage cross functional stakeholders on relevant topics in a time efficient manner
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills and should thrive in high expectation scenario with many stakeholders
- Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply
- Utilizes team collaboration to create innovative solutions efficiently
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Passionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging / disruptive technologies
- Wants to unleash inner self-starter and work in an environment that fosters entrepreneurial minds
