Location: Glasgow or near Penrith, Lake District, plus frequent travel in the UK.
Salary: £30,000 -£40,000, plus benefits package.
Starting salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
Contract: 37.5 hours per week, although 30 hours per week would be considered for the right person (salary pro-rata).

The role
You’ll organise the detail behind the vision…from diaries, events, meetings, and travel. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing and actioning some areas of organisational governance, as well as giving support to Senior Management Team members, and the Board of Trustees as and when required.
This role is more than an Executive Assistant role - you will wear many hats, meet many interesting people and be involved in many differing projects. This role is critical in supporting the organisation in its mission to support young people.

- Discreet and able to maintain sensitive information in an appropriate way.
- Fantastic organisational and planning skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to build effective relationships with key people within and outside of the organisation and inspire confidence.
- Excellent at drafting and processing written correspondence, reports, presentations, and other related documentation using software, such as PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel. You’ll also be used to accounting processes.
- Able to maintain records, using your own systems and those that are in place already, particularly the Trustees Portal and SMT records.
- Happy to be accountable, work unsupervised and with your own initiative.
- Able to problem solve and come up with workable/practical alternatives to problems.
- Flexible, and be able to prioritise workload, and work at speed to get things done.
