Are you interested in leading a newly formed distributed team passionate about delivering high quality, localised content to shoppers on LEGO.com?
Bring your passion for building cross functional relationships and your localisation expertise and work alongside global colleagues in Global Ecommerce, Consumer Services, Marketing, and Product Management and help to improve our shoppers’ experience, no matter where they reside, what language they speak or what device they use.
This role will be instrumental in developing and deploying the best localised user experience on the LEGO.com, ensuring focus on key commercial objectives whilst maintaining an immersive brand and product experience for Shoppers and Families.
Core responsibilities:
- Empower, encourage, guide and mentor a team of 3 colleagues resulting in improved employee engagement, continued development, and increased team efficiency.
- Lead end-to-end ecommerce content localisation and QA processes to ensure accurate and timely product, campaign and promotion launches across the globe.
- Run external localisation partners for maximum quality, speed, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and lead localisation strategy including process and technical improvements and vendor(s) identification and utilisation.
- Collaborate with cross functional customers to establish a comprehensive view of content localisation strengths and opportunities across LEGO.com, incorporating process, technical and financial points of view.
- In partnership with product managers(s), conduct product discoveries in order to define and prioritise research-based requirements for new projects/initiatives.
- Develop programme to sustainably audit localised content on LEGO.com including identifying, categorising, and resolving errors, identifying comprehensive fixes to root causes of sub-optimal text, and helping to define localisation requirements in advance.
- Identify and drive different improvements to the content QA process that increase content quality and minimise manual effort.
- Able to advocate for the shopper when reviewing content.
- Keep abreast of industry content management and localisation trends and actively share new insights.
- Educate English and non-English proficient speakers in localisation quality standard processes.
Do you have what it takes?
- 5+ years ecommerce content localisation and QA experience preferably in a global, direct to consumer environment.
- 3+ years team leadership and people development experience.
- Experience with content management systems and knowledge of content creation lifecycle.
- Shown data driven, shopper/consumer centric approach to content localisation strategy, planning and optimisation; proven understanding of ecommerce analytics and tools like Adobe Analytics.
- An enthusiastic, positive approach and determination to overcome obstacles and deliver results with a focus on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Open, collaborative communication style, with experience working globally across cultures and time sones to build connected, sustainable relationships regardless of organisational structure.
- Passion for developing a deep understanding of shopper needs throughout the shopping journey, and enthusiasm for exceeding shopper expectations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to and engaging partners at all levels.
