Consulting Manager – Remote – UK
The Consulting Manager will be responsible for the delivery of billable Business Management services and customer success. You will manage the day-to-day and longer-term activities of the Business Management Services team within Professional Services. Proactive delivery planning of customer engagements is a key focus of the role. You will work in collaboration with Sales, Project Management, Technical Delivery and Support teams and report to the Director of Professional Services.
The Business Management Services team comprises of around 50 staff within 5-10 regional teams across the UK, Europe, the US and China.

What your day will look like:
- Overseeing the successful delivery of the billable business management services to customers
- Line management of regional/country managers within the Business Management Services team. Includes performance management and staff development
- Handling critical customer issues and escalations
- Resource management of all staff within the Business Management Services team
- Effective management reporting of key metrics and performance, e.g. profitability and utilisation, NPS
- Recruitment of additional resources as dictated by business need
- Actively contributing to wider Professional Services management activities, including resolving escalations and enacting process, quality and profitability improvements
- Leading and supporting customer engagements (if required)
About You:
- 3+ years experience as a Consulting Manager or Professional Services Manager within an Enterprise Software business
- Strong management experience within an IT consulting or IT services organisation
- A passion for line management and leading teams
- Experience managing global teams
- Experience leading customer engagements and resolving escalations
- Demonstratable skill in resource planning and improving team output
- The ability to improve standards and processes
- The desire and ability to learn quickly and work within a complex and challenging technical environment
- An attention to detail and a desire to deliver high-quality work
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency, both written and verbal, in English
- Legally authorized to work in the UK
