Position:

About the role

We seek someone who can help build our consulting business. At first this will mean completing projects, bringing the subject to life for our customers. In time the person would help to manage a project pipeline from pitch to aftersales, lead projects, train new team members and seek cross-selling opportunities.


Tasks & Responsibilities

In this role you will start by completing consulting projects across the food and energy sectors. This will involve the following:


  • Research, write, present, talk on customer consulting projects on food and energy.
  • Manage relationships with sector experts (inside and outside Cz) so that we can complete projects.
  • Develop long-term relationships with consulting customers.
  • Be alert to further upselling/cross-selling opportunities with consulting customers.
  • Manage multiple projects at once with varying timelines.
  • Train new members of the consulting team.
  • Working with other teams at Czarnikow to ensure we derive maximum benefit from Cz Advisory across the organisation.
  • To take responsibility for your performance and to work together to achieve our organizational goals.
  • To attend training courses which are identified as being necessary for the performance of the role.
  • To be fully conversant with the Employee Handbook and supporting policies, including Health & Safety legislation and fire and emergency procedures.
  • To comply with any reasonable instruction issued by your manager.

Requirements:

About you

We are looking for someone with the following skillset and attributes:


Essential:

  • Science or engineering background
  • Proven relevant project experience (eg existing consulting roles, PHD/Masters)
  • Experience in handling and analysing large data sets
  • Excellent communicator – written and spoken
  • Must have an interest in commodities and supply chains
  • Able to develop and maintain diverse relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Fluent in English
  • Proactive
  • Good at working in teams
  • Good at working under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to work with colleagues in different offices
