Join Deloitte's leading Actuarial Insurance practice and apply your skills in projects reaching beyond traditional actuarial boundaries. You'll work with colleagues and clients in Audit, Tax, Consulting and Financial Advisory - exposing you to cutting edge actuarial work in a strategic, consulting and transactional context. Here you'll develop an impressive range of commercial consulting skills that will increase your career options and opportunities markets.

Our Life practice is divided into two teams:

  • Our advisory and core actuarial team - using your actuarial skills in a commercial way for the benefit of our clients. You will be involved in a diverse range of projects including Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Optimization, financial reporting, with-profits work and audit work drawing on a mix of technical skills, regulatory knowledge and effective communication skills. You will also be involved in the identification and development of new propositions to help our clients respond to market trends and effectively execute their strategies.
  • Actuarial transformation team - helping our clients adapt their Finance and Actuarial functions to new technologies, new regulations and cost pressures. You will lead actuarial elements of our largest client’s Finance and Actuarial transformation programmes, including implementation of IFRS 17, and develop new propositions to take to our clients.
