Our Cloud Engineering team supports the CIO/CTO to set the right agenda to transform IT and the business. We have a strong industry focus, and we execute on our advice, working with colleagues across Deloitte to lead cloud transformation programmes that set technology direction. Whether you're working with on-premises systems, Cloud technology, or custom-developed solutions (to name just a few), your expertise will help clients deliver continuous improvement and innovation, from initial design right through to implementation and optimisation.

• Do you have a passion for cloud technology and innovation, with the ability to use your industry knowledge and practical cloud experience to develop Cloud Architecture, Principles, Standards and Roadmaps to advise our clients?
• Are you able work with our clients to define technology requirements and understand the organisational context to define their cloud strategy and architecture needs?
• Are you a hands-on Cloud Architect or Senior Engineer with experience researching, designing, and developing cloud services (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) in a code driven environment?
• Are you confident developing cloud architecture designs aligned to organisational needs, navigating governance processes including presenting your solution, and managing architectural risks for differing industries and clients?
• Are you comfortable evaluating cloud and organisational best practice, assessing cloud environments and making recommendations aligned to organisational need?
• Do you have a good understanding across cloud architectural domains including Cloud Technology, Enterprise, Application Modernisation, Integration, DevOps & IaC, Security or Data & Analytics, ideally with deep experience or specialism in at least one.
• Could you provide insights to help our clients make the right decisions, address key challenges, and identify ways to achieve goals and objectives aligned to their cloud strategy?
• Have you worked in, or managed, diverse teams building strong relationships with clients or colleagues?
• Are you not afraid to challenge the status quo?

Connect to your skills and professional experience

To qualify for the role Consultants must have:

• Experience of testing Salesforce
• Experience of testing within an agile delivery environment
• Experience using and managing test automation tools with Salesforce e.g. Selenium, Provar, AccelQ
• Experience in defining and implementing automation frameworks that cover at least three of the following applications: API, web, mobile, console and desktop applications
• Understanding across multiple disciplines of test, e.g. functional, integration, performance, compatibility
• A good awareness of the role that testing tools play in the software development lifecycle, the types of tools available and where it is appropriate and useful to apply them
• Client-facing experience
• ISTQB Foundation Level certificate (or equivalent experience)
• Test management tool expertise (such as Atlassian Jira, HP ALM etc.)
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Proven technical ability - combined with strong business acumen
• Acute attention to detail

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate skills and experience in some of the following:

• Delivering cloud-based designs and solutions with experience of a broad range of cloud services including SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and across domains including compute, data/storage, network, security, platform services (AI, IoT, Messaging), availability, scalability, DevOps.
• Capturing requirements, conducting stakeholder interviews, business case and strategy development.
• Designing and/or delivering DevOps solutions and using Infrastructure as Code to build cloud platforms and services.
• Evaluating and using emerging and innovative technologies, to shape IT strategy, develop architectures, principles, standards, and roadmaps and deliver cloud platforms.
• Working in an environment with cloud technologies be that design, engineering, or operations.
• An understanding of the theory and practical implementation of Architecture, Principles, Standards, and roadmaps aligned to Agile methodologies

Additional desirable experience includes:

• Have obtained or working towards certification in established cloud technologies (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure)
• Familiarity with industry-recognised methodologies (e.g. TOGAF)

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm.
