Job description
The Project Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the Edgeworks Center. This will include managing projects with industry partners, UNL labs, centers and programs across media arts, digital production, and immersive technologies. This position will be responsible for the financial management of Edgeworks including but not limited to applying for grants and finding funding opportunities, creating reports and presentations for budget and financial purposes, allocating resources across all Edgeworks projects, and overseeing compliance and reporting requirements for the Edgeworks Center. The Project Manager will engage with the arts and activities, exhibits, productions, and performances within the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts. The Project manager must be detail oriented, self-motivated and be able to demonstrate initiative.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field plus five (5) years of experience managing projects with multiple moving parts and dependencies. Recent experience managing teams with diverse skill sets and needs. Experienced in creating presentations for pitches, status updates, reporting, budget/financials. Impeccable organization skills with a demonstrated track record of success on small to large multi-faceted projects. Familiarity with managing budgets, work breakdown structures, allocating individuals, teams, and resources across multiple projects. Ability to learn and demonstrate an understanding of emerging technological systems and techniques for creative applications. Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced MS Excel skills as well as other project management tools and software such as Trello or similar tools.
Preferred QualificationsPosted Salary $70,000/year minimum
