We are looking for a Consultant in Anaesthesia to join our team on the beautiful Isle of Man, where we are aiming to become the best small Island-based health and care system!

About the hospital and service
Noble’s Hospital provides a comprehensive range of services typical of most district general hospitals including acute medicine, general and orthopaedic surgery, maternity, paediatrics, special care baby unit, intensive therapy unit and critical care unit.
The Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Service provide anaesthetic services for all the major specialities (excluding neuro and cardiac surgery), plus care of patients in our ICU. In addition, our team also provide a Consultant-led pain service and provide an anaesthetic service in our obstetric theatre and epidural service.
The Island also provides an air ambulance service for the transfer of critically ill patients to the UK. You will have the opportunity to participate in this service and provide in flight anaesthetic support during transfer, with the appropriate training. The medical lead for the air ambulance service is a consultant anaesthetist.
You will join fourteen other consultants, one associate specialist and two speciality doctors to provide resident on-call cover for anaesthetics, as well as general anaesthetic duties.
