About the role:
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join Cervical Screening London (CSL) as a Consultant Biomedical Scientist (CBMS). CSL is the sole provider of cervical screening in London following the award of the contract in December 2019.
The laboratory processes in excess of 700, 000 samples per annum and has a large workforce of over 100 staff and 20 Consultants including CBMS'.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, highly motivated and experienced HCPC individuals. Candidates must hold the Advanced Specialist Diploma in Cervical Cytology. The primary purpose of this role will be to report abnormal cytology samples, participate in Multi Disciplinary Team Meetings, the invasive cancer audit review and play an active role in the training and development of staff.
Reporting to the CSL Scientific Lead , the post holder will form part of a team of Consultant CBMS ' and Consultant Pathologists in a modern central London facility within a short walking distance of Euston and Kings Cross/St Pancras stations.
Salray will depend on qualifications, experience and will be negotiated with the successful candidate and their employer.
