BI Analyst / Developer – HYBRID / REMOTE
We are currently looking for an experienced BI Analyst / Developer to join our highly regarded client. Our customer has won numerous awards in its commercial space and is consistently considered to be one of the best employers in the local area.
As a BI Analyst/Developer , you will work with multiple business areas to understand their current requirements and using your knowledge and experience to translate these requirements into well designed BI solutions.
Main Responsibilities as a BI Analyst/Developer:
Support the development of a data culture that incrementally and purposely enables self-service BI practices throughout our organisation
Build trust through strong relationships and BI deliverables with key stakeholders and internal customers
Translate and migrate our existing legacy systems into faster, better, smarter BI solutions
When appropriate help design, build, deliver and maintain the right BI reports and apps (Power BI, Paginated Reports, Excel, Apps)
When appropriate help design, build, deliver and maintain the right BI Power BI datasets (direct query, indirect or composite / incremental or hybrid loads, aggregate tables)
Skills and experience you need as a BI Analyst/Developer:
Practical knowledge of best practices relating to Power BI (premium) development and adoption Experience in business requirements gathering and discovery
At least two years’ experience using Power BI enterprise features
Hands on experience of using Power BI Desktop External tools such as DAX Studio, Tabular Editor or AML toolkit
Experience of building or designing enterprise level SSAS Tabular models or Power BI Datasets
