About the role

An Egremont Consultant plays an incredibly diverse role. On client engagements, you will work directly alongside clients and within the team to proactively anticipate project needs, take ownership for specific tasks, and deliver the plan to ensure client deliverables are met.

You will utilise the key skills and qualities you have developed to date, to play an influential role in solving big problems. This means identifying hypotheses to test, drawing insights, and creating compelling stories to present back to senior client stakeholders and Egremont team members.

As an impactful team member, you will also contribute to internal improvement projects, as well as supporting others within the Egremont team by sharing knowledge with peers and more junior consultants.

Importantly, you will be able to proactively explore opportunities for self-development and improvements within your own development plan.

About you

We are looking for people who bring approximately 2 years' experience working in a consulting role, ideally with time spent in a large consulting environment. You don't need expertise in all our services, but experience working in strategy, operational improvement or people change will be required. In addition, we will ask you to demonstrate that you:

  • Have strong analytical and story-telling ability, underpinned by advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. You can ask the right questions and draw out insights from quantitative and qualitative data sets, but you know that data alone doesn't create the case for change.
  • Bring experience gathering, defining, and documenting business requirements and have owned the development of outputs as part of a workstream.
  • Are confident supporting the facilitation of workshops and liaising directly with client stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions and effectively manage expectations along the journey.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A real team player, dedicated to seeing the job through. Insatiably curious and creative, always looking for new solutions and alternative pathways.

Remuneration

£42,000-£52,000 annual salary (depending on experience) plus bonus up to 20% based on company performance.
