Salary: Fee-sharing arrangement - 70% to Consultant, 30% to Firm
Are you an experienced Probate Consultant in the UK with a valid license to practice and a well-established client base? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Remote Probate Consultant.
CarpeDiem is a respected firm specializing in providing comprehensive family law services to clients across the UK. We offer administrative support, access to our system, and the opportunity to collaborate with our existing clients if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on probate matters, including estate administration, inheritance tax, wills, and trusts.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' estates, gathering necessary information, and developing effective strategies for smooth probate processes.
- Prepare and file necessary legal documents, including grant of probate applications and letters of administration.
- Liaise with beneficiaries, executors, and other relevant parties to ensure proper estate distribution.
- Stay up-to-date with probate laws, regulations, and procedures to provide accurate and current advice.
- Maintain strong client relationships, offering compassionate support and clear communication throughout the probate process.
- Collaborate with the firm's administrative team to streamline processes, manage client documentation, and ensure efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
- Valid license to practice in the UK.
- Proven experience in handling probate cases, demonstrating expertise in estate administration and related matters.
- In-depth knowledge of UK probate laws, inheritance tax regulations, and legal procedures.
- Ability to independently manage client cases, conducting thorough research, and providing sound legal advice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using technology tools and systems to facilitate remote work.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely, managing time efficiently while meeting client expectations.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and dedicated to providing high-quality legal services.
