Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated individual with excellent communication and management skills to work closely with the company director and office staff. You should possess a valid driving license and own a car, as you may be asked to pick up materials from shops on occasion. We will cover the cost of petrol used during the days when you are driving to purchase materials. Your responsibilities will include managing two or three small construction sites and ensuring that deadlines are met.

Duties:

- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
- Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction process
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role

-Driving License required

-Excellent communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Salary: £130.00 per day

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

  • King Cross, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
