Job description
Russell Taylor Group are seeking a Working Site Foreman (Joinery) in Sheffield on behalf of a leading construction firm.
The role is being offered on a freelance basis.
Responsibilities:
You will be working on a medical facility, to refurbish and renew internal structure. You will be responsible for ensuring Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to at all times, and to a high standard. You will be overseeing subcontractors on site whilst liaising with the client(s).
Duties:
- Managing and Overlooking all site teams
- Watching the programme delivery - material orders, skips, etc.
- Monitoring & Enforcing H&S Procedures
- Carrying out safety and quality inspections daily
- Informing clients and reporting progress
- Responsible for inducting and tool box talks
- Must be willing to get hands on when required
Essentials:
- Joinery background (NVQ2/3 in Site Joinery/Carpentry)
- SMSTS / SSSTS
- First Aid at Work
- Full UK Driving Licence
