Interested in spending 12 months learning from an experienced design team, gaining the essential real world design skills to catapult yourself into a career as a Digital Designer?
Perhaps you have experience already from a university placement, but this is by no means essential.
If so, we have a great opportunity for a Junior Digital Designer to join our Craghoppers Digital Team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Junior Digital Designer is responsible for supporting the Craghoppers Digital Design team across BAU design briefs & creative concepts where required.
Working closely with the Digital Designers and Content Team, you will ensure creative consistency throughout the Craghoppers brand across all digital platforms by maintaining and implementing digital guidelines and best practices. This position will execute of the design vision set by the senior digital design team, resizing assets where required for various platforms & channels.
This role ensures day-to-day design requirements are met, coordinating with Front-end developers, UX/UI designers and Trading, Marketing and Brand teams.
The Impact you will have in this role is:
- High quality digital asset design and production for all digital channels, ensuring brand guidelines are met, with pixel-perfect design, including converting Brand Marketing campaign artwork into digital designs.?
- Following detailed design guidelines across all digital platforms, which have been embedded and rolled out across all digital channels including website content, social media, affiliates, email etc.?
- Engaging content which is robust and delivered on-time, meeting the needs of Trading and Marketing teams, ensuring design practices are consistent yet adapted as necessary for international audiences.?
- Optimised designs and content, working closely with Content and CRO teams to test and measure engagement, adapting designs as required to deliver continuous improvement of content.?
- New and innovative design concepts developed, through the capture and interpretation of CRO and Analytics insights, to develop highly targeted and engaging assets and experiences.?
- Documented and shareable design trends, ensuring brand designs are up to date / ahead of the market and competitors, carrying out user group research and creating mood boards to progress concepts.
As our future Junior Digital Designer, you will have:
- A relevant design based degree.?
- Experience working from briefs.?
- Experience creating conceptual artwork.?
- Production of and maintenance of design systems and guidelines.?
- Confidence in working with multiple teams and excellent communication skills.?
- Ability to communicate personally in meetings, large groups and to seniors.?
- Attention to detail.?
- Ability to work remotely when required.
- Awareness of the importance in planning and developing digital assets for trade activity and large events for Peak periods.
- Experience in Adobe creative suite.?
- Exposure to UXpin, Figma or Adobe XD or other similar services (beneficial).
