Job description
The Job!
We’re TouchWood. We design, build and install adventure playgrounds where children can enjoy fun, healthy, imaginative play in a safe and natural setting.
We’re looking for experienced and motivated carpenters and construction workers to help ensure our work is carried out to the highest standards and to the agreed schedule, with a rigorous approach to site safety are the key responsibilities.
You’ll be joining an outstanding playground build team all dedicated to achieving the very best results for our customers.
About Us
TouchWood has created adventure parks & play spaces for The National Trust, the Forestry Commission, award winning exhibition pieces at the Chelsea Flower Show, a large number of councils, the NHS, hundreds of schools and nurseries as well as indoor play barns, adventure parks, garden centres, caravan parks, pubs, camp sites and many more.
All our projects are unique and bring their own set of challenges and rewards. Each is designed from scratch, in collaboration with clients, often with the active input of children and local community members.
About You
You’re dedicated & reliable. You have some woodworking skills - experience of groundworks & landscaping would be beneficial but not essential.
A good team player, you’ll help your colleagues bring every project to a successful conclusion. Reliability is essential.
