Job description
We are looking for a motivated Labourer to help with jobs on and around the site. Duties of the Labourer include helping move and collect materials, set up tools and help with general building work. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, punctual, ready to help and learn. If you have any/little previous experience on building work we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Labourer will be ready to help where there is a need and able to learn new skills that will later help to expand your work.
Responsibilities:
- Lift heavy loads such as bricks, lumber, and metal.
- Knowledge of power tools and equipment.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA regulations.
- Read blueprints and building plans.
- Handle dampness, dust, cold, and heat.
- Performing setup and cleanup tasks on site.
- Operating heavy machinery, such as excavators and dumper trucks.
- Digging pits, trenches and foundations.
- Putting up panels to hold concrete in place.
- Laying kerbs and paving and resurfacing roads.
- Directing traffic when necessary to ensure the safety of pedestrians.
- Climbing to heights and conducting work while properly using safety restraints.
- Providing general maintenance of construction equipment.
- Moves, collects, and sets up materials
- Moves, collects, and sets up tools.
- Helps with different types of jobs on and around the site
Requirements:
- Site and building experience.
- Familiar with tools used on building site.
- Able to collaborate and work with others.
About You:
You must have a valid CSCS card and have previous site experience.

Hours of work: 7.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
There is free parking on site

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 39 per week
Salary: £11.00-£15.00 per hour

- CSCS (preferred)
