Job description
At Vision Estimating Ltd, we specialise in construction cost estimating, quantity surveying and comprehensive health and safety services for companies on the British market. Today we are looking for a positive and motivated individual to join our team as a 'cost estimator'.
Main tasks include:
- Taking measurements of the construction project and preparing cost estimates in a specialised software and/or excel.
- Contacting clients to clarify all project details.
- Contacting suppliers and subcontractors for quotes.
- Updating cost estimates and valuations in accordance with the information provided.
An ideal candidate should have:
- Higher or secondary education in a relevant field
- Experience in working in a similar position (construction experience is welcome or willingness to develop in this direction)
- Ability to prepare cost estimates and technical and commercial documentation
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Good command of the English language, min. level B2 (+ Polish Language)
- Knowledge of the UK Building Standards / Building Regulations
