Our Client is looking for an Estimator to join their team and provide accurate cost estimates for projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations, as well as the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications. The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Ideally the candidate would have external envolpe experience withn SFS/ Cladding / Steelwork. The right candidate would be able to be based at our clients Colchester office but preferably a remote position.
Annual Salary - £40,000 to £55,000 Dependent on experience.
28 Days Holiday.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and estimate the cost of materials and labour for construction projects.
- Analyse blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, and labour estimates.
- Develop cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment needed for construction projects.
- Prepare estimates for complete projects or portions of projects.
- Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Identify potential problems or areas of improvement in the estimating process.
