Salary: £30,510 - £35,259 per annum (Depending on experience)
Shift: Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm & Friday 9am to 4.45pm (36 hours per week)
Contract: 6 month Fixed term contract
Location: Desford Road, Enderby, LE19 4AT
The role:
Working within the Credit and Risk Operational team/department, the Compliance Coordinator will have responsibility to introduce, co-ordinate and continually improve first line controls, setting up proactive monitoring of our regulatory compliance, helping to reduce regulatory risk to all areas of Next Online, and supporting the Senior Management Team to effectively manage /control weaknesses.
You will work closely with our Credit Compliance team to ensure a high level of regulatory compliance, providing analysis and insight to both Compliance and Senior Operation Managers in the business.
You will work with Credit Compliance to:
- Provide support to the Operational Management on compliance matters to achieve best practices and awareness across the Operation.
- Provide updates and ongoing plans to maintain compliance and help reduce regulatory risk.
- Support in the development, implementation and maintenance of the internal audit policies.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant compliance topics ensuring any material change is brought to the attention of Senior Managers and efficiently implemented.
- Coordinate biannual PCI assessments/audits and analyse the findings to determine trends and root causes, ensuring corrective and preventative action is identified, working with Senior Management to drive improvement.
- Design and deliver proactive compliance 1st line monitoring activity across the operational areas of the business.
- Standardise the compliance monitoring tracker to meet the changing needs of the business.
About you:
- Proven experience of working in a compliance environment and knowledge of FCA/GDPR and PCI governance.
- Have a proven record of being able to influence others at all levels through excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, to manage compliance issues, queries and requests.
- Sharp analytical and problem solving skills.
- An effective decision maker, able to demonstrate good judgment in order to resolve problems.
- Previous people management experience, in a customer service environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages/Google G-Suite.
- Plan and organise workloads and adapt to changing demands in a positive manner.
- Confident in managing/participating in meetings to include Senior Management levels.
- Be highly motivated & resilient, and able to work under pressure.
