Job description
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Analyze project scope and identify potential risks and opportunities
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather relevant data
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and submit them to clients within specified deadlines
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing as needed
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
- Provide ongoing support to project teams during the construction phase
```Qualifications:```
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred)
- Experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
