Job Role
Our company is seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in construction estimating and will possess strong communications skills and the ability to hit deadlines on time. This position will primarily be responsible for producing accurate and complete construction estimates based on the information provided. Candidates must also have experience in detailed record keeping and follow strict deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate the costs of building houses, apartments, and other buildings.
- Produce Bills of Quantities
- Perform Take-Off's in blu beam (or similar)
- Be competent to cost Schedules of Works
- Manage time & deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Obtain necessary quotes
- Work with mangers and other team members to gain the best results
- Offer recommendations to improve efficiency and quality
- Proficient in Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
