Client Executive Owners & Developers Construction– Permanent
Marsh Specialty Construction Practice
A market leading specialty business servicing all aspects of the construction both in the UK and overseas. Our client base includes the world’s leading construction and engineering companies.
We are seeking a member of the team who can suppport our growing portfolio of UK construction in for Owners and Developers. The successful candidate will be joining a team that operates at the highest level of professionalism and insurance knowledge within their sectors. The role involves interaction between the client-facing teams within the Construction division and the insurance market.

- You can expect to work in a fast-paced specialised team within the London Construction Insurance Market that handles the largest and most dynamic of client portfolios.
- Insurance placements will be diverse and offer the successful candidate the opportunity to meet new, different and exciting challenges on a daily basis.

We will rely on you to:
- Assist the broking directors to help manage workflow in order to ensure deadlines are met
- Secure terms on complex one off project placements, primary and excess of loss annuals
- Broking of contract change endorsements.
What you will need to have:
- A establsihed reputation in the construction market.
- Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and insurance market
- Some understanding of latent defect insurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiation and persuasive negotiation skills
- Proficient with software packages such as Word and Excel
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines is essential
- Organistational skills
- The Right to Work in the UK
