Responsibilities:
- Perform concrete, masonry, and metal work in accordance with plans and specifications
- Prepare specifications for fabrication by reading blueprints, reading instructions, and following instructions on hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Read blueprints to understand their purpose and how they relate to you as a team member
- Read job orders to understand the job order’s requirements and its economic implications
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols
- Follow all production schedules and procedures
- Report any safety or production problems immediately to your supervisor or manager
Skills:
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus but not required
- Ability to interpret construction drawings is a plus but not required
- Ability to perform basic math calculations is a plus but not required
