Structural Soils part of the RSK Group are currently looking to add Assistant Drillers to our team in Bristol, UK. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys manual, mainly outdoors work, with some deliveries and occasional warehouse work. This is a full-time, permanent position.

We regularly review pay rates and encourage career progression. All training will be provided to aid your path in the industry, with routes to Drilling, Ground investigation & laboratory sectors within the business.

Responsibilities:

• Working outside throughout the year in varying locations around the UK (staying away is often required; all expenses paid)
• Assisting Lead Drillers in our Drilling Department on sites all over the UK ranging from inner-city to countryside locations
• Undertaking general labouring duties e.g., erecting fences, general reinstatement, delivery of consumables, hand dug inspection pits and collection of samples
• Manual handling and moving heavy items, plus training in the use of some site equipment and plant
• Assisting with tasks in the Warehouse

• You will enjoy working as a team and have the ability to work individually on tasks
• You will be able to carry out physically challenging tasks
• You will be able to follow strict industry health and safety and environmental standards
• You will have a full driving licence is essential
• A CSCS Card is desirable but not essential

Salary and benefits:

• Salary between £25,000 & £28,000 depending on experience
• Regular overtime payments
