AllVert Structural Solutions is an experienced vertical access contractor specializing in building envelope maintenance, repair, inspection and cleaning for commercial structures and condominium buildings. AllVert is COR certified and is hiring experienced, energetic construction workers and Laborers for projects in Edmonton and surrounding areas.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Year-round or Seasonal work.
• A driver's license is required.***
• Opportunity for growth.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Use various site construction tools.
• Move material manually.
• Work year-round in an outside environment
• Identify hazards on site and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Complete site preparation work
• Work effectively within a crew of 3-5 team members on the construction site
• Take direction and collaborate with your supervisor
• Follow company safety policies and procedures

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physically apt to perform job duties.
• Ability to work as a team and communicate with coworkers.
• Willingness to learn general construction and COR practices.
• Concrete and building construction experience is an asset (deck repairs, caulking, delamination , traffic membrane repairs etc).
• wages start at $23 per hour, could be more ,depending on which position you are applying for and experience and work effort.
• English Language communication, both written and verbal
• Available to work Monday-Friday
• Possible travel on varied work locations
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Able to work at heights with proper safety restraints
• Good communication skills to receive and relay information to and from crew member, foremen and supervisor
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Employees are to provide their own steel-toed safety boots

ASSETS:

• Previous experience repairing decks, caulking, removing/installing windows.
• Previous Concrete repair and waterproofing experience
• Valid driver's license and experience using small equipment | Ex: zoom boom and aerial work platforms
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Valid tickets in fall arrest, CSTS 2020,WHIMIS,Basic Scaffolding Safety, Basic Ladder Safety, Working at Heights, Propane on Work Site, Intro to Respiratory Protective Equip, Driving and Journey Mgmt., Confined Space Awareness, Framing Hazards & Controls, Types and uses of Safe Guards, etc.
