We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a skilled concept artist to join our team. You’ll be joining a diverse team bringing to life concepts that blend imagination, art, and future-tech to create groundbreaking attractions, events, products and experiences. Whether you get there through pure illustration or photo manipulation, we don’t mind.
No day is ever the same – you'll be concepting everything from environments and characters through to ride vehicles and user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation of ideation sketches, concept visuals, storyboards and high quality, key renders
- Creation of production concepts and polished 2D marketing assets
- Creation of high-quality renders and concept visuals which demonstrate a good understanding of scale, lighting techniques and materials
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
- Support active projects and bid/proposal work
- Comfortable working in a high paced environment – with flexibility to meet the demands of the business
- Innovate and put forward creative solutions to technical challenges
You should have:
- Experience with Photoshop or similar
- Ability to clearly articulate visual vision to team of multidisciplinary contributors, technical artists, 3D artists, etc., to help define the visual goal and intent
- Full understanding of visual design principles including colour, light, composition and scale
- A strong ability to work with a range of varied art styles and technical specifications
It would be great if you have:
- Experience with 3Dsmax, Blender or Maya
- Ability to generate 3D elements to support concept art pipeline (composition/lighting/scale/perspective etc)
- Strong understanding of art pipelines including: art creation processes (both 2D and 3D), technology requirements and advancements, trade-offs, and challenges associated with development
- A passion for themed entertainments and/or experiential installations

Salary: £20,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
