Job title: Senior Digital Designer
Reporting to: Managing Director
Base Salary: Up to £40,000
Location: Fully Remote currently – Opportunity to go Hybrid at some point in 2023
Working Hours: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday (Occasional overtime dependent on project)

Role Overview
We seek an experienced and talented Senior Graphic Designer focusing on web and digital design to join our creative team. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be pivotal in conceptualising and creating visually stunning and engaging digital assets for our web and online platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and development, to translate their requirements and brand vision into compelling visual designs. The ideal candidate has a strong graphic design background, extensive web design principles knowledge, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences in the digital space.
What you will get involved in:
- Lead the design and production of high-quality digital assets for web and online platforms, including websites, landing pages, banners, email templates, social media graphics, and other digital marketing materials.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to understand project requirements, target audience, and brand guidelines, ensuring visual designs align with the overall brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly web and mobile interfaces, incorporating intuitive navigation, responsive design principles, and strong visual hierarchy.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mock-ups to communicate design concepts and effectively gather stakeholders' feedback.
- Execute design projects from concept to completion, ensuring designs are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies, and proactively suggest innovative ideas to enhance the digital user experience.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of design assets, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on final designs to ensure pixel-perfect accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency in brand identity and visual design across various digital channels.
What you will need:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful web and digital design projects.
- Strong understanding of web design principles, user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, and responsive design techniques.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web development frameworks to facilitate effective collaboration with front-end developers.
- Ability to translate complex ideas and requirements into visually appealing and engaging designs.
- Proficient in industry-standard graphic design software, such as Figma, Affinity by Serif and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of typography, colour theory, and composition principles, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
