Works under the general supervision of the supervisor/group leader/or the department director. Performs duties to include proper cleaning and floor maintenance that meets state facility regulatory requirements RHS Infection Control standards and Environmental Services policies and procedures. Ensures a neat clean and safe work environment is maintained. Ensures adequate supplies for cleaning and assists team members with moving equipment cleaning and beds. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Located in Newport News, the 209-bed facility provides Nursing Long-Term Skilled Care, Memory Support, and Rehabilitation Care. Accommodations throughout the Center include tastefully furnished private and semi-private rooms, courtyards, lounges, dining areas, and a beauty shop. The Gardens is on the same beautiful campus as our Warwick Forest retirement community and offers a very safe and close-knit feel.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Floor care experience required. Hospital setting experience preferred.
