Description
BDP Pattern is the sports and entertainment division of BDP, a global architecture and engineering practice with a network of studios across the UK, EMEA, Asia, North America and Latin America.
Specialising in stadium and arena design, BDP Pattern creates iconic venues for clubs around the world. BDP Pattern is currently delivering Everton Football Club’s new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in Liverpool and are looking to grow our team for future projects.
We are looking for a passionate computational designer/architect to join the London studio’s Computational Design team, to work across all live projects, particularly on key packages such as the façade, roof, and seating bowl.
Experience:
- RIBA Part I or II, or equivalent qualification.
- Expertise in Rhino and Grasshopper is essential.
- A willingness to learn and an interest in computational design is essential.
- A knowledge of Revit and Dynamo is beneficial, but not essential.
- Any previous experience in Digital Fabrication/DfMA is beneficial.
- Previous experience on large-scale complex projects from RIBA stage 0-4 is beneficial.
- The right candidate will have a portfolio which demonstrates independent thinking, creativity, and a broad range of technical skills illustrating the ability to produce and manage complex geometries.
The candidate will have excellent spoken and written English for client-facing workshops and presentations and be prepared for travel within the UK and internationally.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a globally respected architecture practice working across high-profile projects globally. There is a lot of room to grow and develop, with support in place to succeed and rise through the practice.
This will be working in a hybrid role with at least three days in the office and the rest from home.
