Be part of a team which has a Reablement service which, last year, helped hundreds of people become independent again after a stay in hospital, where Occupational Therapists, domiciliary rehab staff and social workers find innovative ways to support people to live how they like using direct payments, where an incredible partnership with health means integrated teams which deliver services more effectively.
You will be key support for service users in achieving increased independence, working to promote their wellbeing and daily living skills by teaching, assisting in personal care and motivating people in re-learning activities as part of the outcome based Reablement plans designed by Occupational Therapists. You will be making a true difference to people’s lives!

What you’ll be doing:
- To monitor the quality of service delivered and ensure CQC compliance is prioritised by undertaking Compliance Officer Quality Assurance visits.
- Ensure that each service user in the Reablement service has appropriate care plans and associated risk assessments in order deliver care safely,
- Provide leadership alongside the Reablement Team Leaders acting as an ambassador for care quality, audit and risk management within the service.
- Have a focus on compliance with supervisory responsibility for implementation of policies and procedure.
What you’ll have:
- Strong working knowledge of CQC fundamental standards
- Strong knowledge of NICE standards in regards to medication administration
- An confident awareness of quality assurance and how to audit activity within a care setting
- Good working awareness of the local area
- Understanding and commitment to equality and diversity
- Care sector experience in a professional or personal capacity
- Good leadership skills and able to work in challenging circumstances and remain calm when dealing with emergency situations
- Able to understand follow and instruct in regards to policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing, respectful and maintain confidentiality and experience of using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- NVQ level 3 in Care, QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent and the willingness to undertake level 4 qualification
- Full UK driving licence with daily access to a car
