The Commercial Administration & Compliance Manager sits at the heart of the Commercial team, forming part of a wider support function which is responsible for Commercial strategy, trade planning and operating model. You will be key to ensuring the business processes within the Commercial team are completed in an accurate, timely manner and in accordance with our high standards. You will work cross-functionally to enable our team of buyers to deliver their objectives whilst guiding them through our best practice, as well as being an invaluable support to the admin function.

The Commercial Administration & Compliance Manager sits at the heart of the Commercial team, forming part of a wider support function which is responsible for Commercial strategy, trade planning and operating model. You will be key to ensuring the business processes within the Commercial team are completed in an accurate, timely manner and in accordance with our high standards. You will work cross-functionally to enable our team of buyers to deliver their objectives whilst guiding them through our best practice, as well as being an invaluable support to the admin function.
What you will be doing
- Implement a framework to manage and oversee the output of Commercial admin team, covering areas such as product and supplier set up
- Co-ordinate cross category workflows and projects for the Commercial team
- Verify appropriate sign offs and accurate keying of price and promotional activity
- Manage a suite of central commercial reporting including flags, escalations, and recommendations on how team members can best adhere to business policies
- Focus on the Food & Impulse categories, acting as a source of support on complex tasks such as Meal Deal management and promotional planning
- Monitor compliance of deliverables outlined in Commercial Operating Model, e.g. Vendor Buying Agreements and Cost Price Increase trackers
- Manage our Trading Academy Training Calendar
- Previous Commercial/Retail Admin or Buying experience
- Detailed knowledge of commercial processes and systems
- Computer literate - experience using Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Great stakeholder management
- Excellent admin and organizational ability
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast paced environment
- Strong numerical skills
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills
- Proactive and resourceful
