The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Quality Officer role will make an impact:
  • To carry out activities relating to product quality and ensure compliance with product licence particulars and cGMP.
  • To undertake duties to support Viatris / Mylan UK Quality Management Systems. This will include:
  • Coordinating submission requirements for nitrosamine risk
  • Supporting analytical method transfers
  • Supporting various elements of the Quality Management System such as; documentation control, change control, complaints handling, product quality escalations, deviations, root cause analysis and CAPAs, technical agreements, product quality reviews
  • Maintain communication with line management.
  • Meet objectives as agreed in the annual appraisal and carry out any other duties as directed.
In addition, other activities required by this role may include:
  • Business travel as required
  • Working in a manner that ensures the safety of self, other personnel and visitors to the Company and conform to the requirements of current legislation (GxP)
  • Involvement in internal inspections and external technical meetings
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
  • BSc and or MSc in relevant scientific field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and within dynamic / collaborative cross-functional team environments
  • Experience with communicating with the MHRA (desired but not essential)
  • Experience with various IT systems such as Documentum, Trackwise
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and packaging documentation, change control
  • Good decision-making skills, flexible to current and new situations
