The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Quality Officer role will make an impact:

To carry out activities relating to product quality and ensure compliance with product licence particulars and cGMP.
To undertake duties to support Viatris / Mylan UK Quality Management Systems. This will include:
Coordinating submission requirements for nitrosamine risk
Supporting analytical method transfers
Supporting various elements of the Quality Management System such as; documentation control, change control, complaints handling, product quality escalations, deviations, root cause analysis and CAPAs, technical agreements, product quality reviews
Maintain communication with line management.
Meet objectives as agreed in the annual appraisal and carry out any other duties as directed.

In addition, other activities required by this role may include:

Business travel as required
Working in a manner that ensures the safety of self, other personnel and visitors to the Company and conform to the requirements of current legislation (GxP)
Involvement in internal inspections and external technical meetings

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

BSc and or MSc in relevant scientific field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and within dynamic / collaborative cross-functional team environments
Experience with communicating with the MHRA (desired but not essential)
Experience with various IT systems such as Documentum, Trackwise
Knowledge of manufacturing and packaging documentation, change control
Good decision-making skills, flexible to current and new situations
