Tasks

  • Coordinating all European product registration and notification activities - including coordination, collection and collation of documentation to prepare accurate regulatory packs/dossiers for submission
  • Ensuring European compliance of food supplements products
  • Conducting global raw material and formulation reviews
  • Reviewing and approving new and modified products and claims, as well as product packaging/labelling and marketing communication materials
  • Initiating and reviewing product safety assessments as performed by external consultants to ensure regulatory and safety compliance
  • Remaining current with new regulations and regulatory changes, interpreting complex information and summarizing the impact for other functions, as appropriate
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of effective documentation and data control management for compliance files
  • Providing regulatory advice to marketing, technical staff and potentially senior management
Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the food supplement industry
  • Knowledge and experience with EU regulations, notably
  • Food labelling law, food additive law, Nutrition and Health Claims Regulation
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical and regulatory documents
  • Experience in the medical devices and/or cosmetics industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English and at least one other European language
  • Detail-oriented to produce accurate and timely results
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities & work independently with excellent time management skills
  • Collaborative, team player, strong computer skills
