Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with the ability to work alone, to communicate with residents regarding building safety issues and keep our records updated for vulnerable residents living in flats. You will also assist the Neighbourhood Team to manage tenancy and housing management functions.
The successful candidate will need outstanding communication skills, ideally have some experience of working in a social housing or property management environment and an understanding of current guidance on building safety.
Key responsibilities will include:
Support vulnerable residents, identifying safeguarding concerns and managing appropriate referrals for support
Ensure Health and Safety issues identified are reported and resolved urgently
Maintaining a contact schedule for all customers living in a flat to identify fire safety and evacuation risks. Ensuring all vulnerable resident details are up to date and logged in on site fire information boxes.
Work closely with Health and Safety advisors and Fire Risk specialist contractors to ensure all vulnerable customers living in a flat has an appropriate Personal Evacuation Plan.
Work closely with Swan Building Safety Team to assist with customer communications and access to properties for remedial works as required
Enforce tenancy conditions

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to resolve challenges independently
Have excellent organisation skills and a keen eye for detail
Knowledge of tenancy management and property maintenance.
Computer literate with knowledge of Word and Excel packages.
