Job description
We have a great opportunity for a registered professional to make a difference to peoples lives when they are placed away from their home areas for care in alternative hospital placements. This role is part of the senior leadership team within the Directorate of Mental Health, based within the portfolio of mental health services.
This is a new post within the Directorate and will sit alongside the Patient Flow Team with the ambition, as the team grows, to develop wider within the mental health pathway.
The post holder will provide clinical leadership and be responsible for delivering comprehensive clinical reports to meet commissioner targets for placement reviews supporting the Trusts rehabilitation and repatriation agendas. It will involve taking a lead role in organising and undertaking specialist assessments as an autonomous practitioner. There will be the responsibility for supervising the work and skill development of the team, ensuring quality and patient safety is met in line with governance procedures.
