Lambeth Adult Social Care are seeking a Data Quality Officer on a permanent basis.
Working to the Service Improvement Lead you will be assisting with the process for ensuring that data underpinning statutory performance is kept up to date and accurate. This is a new role following the introduction of a new Adult Social Care assurance framework and the introduction of an external inspection regime.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to form relationships across the directorate to address data quality issues. You’ll identify where data entry is inaccurate, look for common trends of data inaccuracies, and administer solutions to improve data quality.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have a flexible attitude and enjoy a varied workload.
- Be proactive and have the ability to use their own initiative.
- Be experienced in using IT systems, preferably in a social care setting.
- Be experienced in using Excel and confident in handling datasets.
- Understand the importance of excellent standards of data quality.
- Be able to effectively communicate with a range of colleagues to explain data entry mistakes and improve data entry practices.
This role will support home based working, but you need to be able and willing to come to Brixton and the borough of Lambeth when required.
