The Package:
Salary: £35,000 – £37,000 per annum
25 days holiday per annum

The Role:
As the Compliance Manager you will be primarily responsible to ensure the highest standards of quality performance are achieved and the right first-time principle is continuing within the Operation.
- Analyse business methods and ensure that the operations are following all employment laws, and best practices.
- Working alongside the EH&S Manager by providing education, coaching and advice to employees to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are achieved in the UK AGR operation.
- Ensuring adherence to all systems and procedures (for example ISO/JSOX/SOP Adherence).
- Working alongside the EH&S Manager in being responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy workplace with appropriate written control procedures for all activities.
- Working as part of the senior Operations team, identify and implement improvements in processes to ensure ongoing operational improvements.
- Provide leadership to all employees entrusted to you to ensure that levels of knowledge and capability continually improve.
- Manage all employee and business process compliance activity for operations.
- Develop internal controls and policies designed to ensure that all compliance needs are met.
- Work closely with department managers to review all departmental policies for compliance issues, Such as IS09001 controls.
- 14001 process control for AGRUK
- Control and manage the Risk Assessment process for operational activities.
- Complete and manage the internal audit process.
- Assess product, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies.
- Conduct environmental audits with the EH&S function to ensure adherence to environmental standards
The Candidate:
- Proactive & positive attitude to H&S activities
- Proactive, positive, and challenging view on service quality – strong understanding and commitment to the “Right First Time” Principles
- Strong communication skills are required as the job holder will be required to interact with employees, managers, suppliers, and customers
- Strong presentation skills to enable the job holder to present proposals and feedback to all relevant people in written and verbal format
- 3+ years’ experience in quality control or Internal auditing
- An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills
- Understands operating procedures in detail
- Experienced in Risk Assessment
- ISO 9001 experience preferred
- 14001 experience preferred
- Advanced computer database and Microsoft Office software skills
- Strong understanding of current regulations affecting manufacturing companies
